SEOUL, Sep. 20 (Korea Bizwire) – The chemical and electronic materials unit of Samsung SDI said on September 18 that it took part in the “100% Design” exhibition held in London for four days between September 17 and 20.
The company showcases a variety of artificial marble items under the brand name “Staron,” including a speaker shaped like an owl and artificial marbles that look like a giraffe, zebra, hedgehog, and killer whale.
According to the company, its displays were given high marks for their delicate touches like smooth curves and exquisite projections that are usually hard to materialize in an artificial marble.
The London 100% Design is considered one of the world’s top design expositions together with the Milan Furniture Fair and Paris Maison & Objet. Held since 2003 every year in September, the trade show is visited by more than 20,000 design professionals from all around the world.
