SEOUL, Aug. 30 (Korea Bizwire) — The Convention and Exhibition Center (COEX) in southern Seoul is gaining popularity as a venue for examinations and interviews in the pandemic era thanks to its safe quarantine environment and variety of spaces.
Some 800 students took the U.S.-based Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) at COEX last Saturday.
The College Board, which oversees the SAT, had been hosting the exams at various schools and academies, but moved to COEX to meet stricter social distancing measures.
COEX has hosted some 200 national examinations and company interviews in its conference rooms and exhibition halls, which have helped to offset the dwindling number of international conferences following the coronavirus outbreak.
