SEOUL, Nov. 5 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. said Thursday it will operate an LG CLOi GuideBot at Seoul Racecourse Park located in Gwacheon, south of Seoul in collaboration with the Korea Racing Authority, South Korea’s horse racing authority.
Starting from Friday, the robot will fulfill the role of welcoming visitors and offering information on the park’s main facilities.
Visitors will be able to find a route to specific destinations within the park through the robot’s touch screen. The robot can provide information on location, path and the time required to get there both by ‘speaking’ and on its screen.
The robot can also accompany visitors to the destinations they look for.
The 27-inch displays installed on both the front and rear provide horse racing information. The robot can also take photos of visitors to the park.
