SEOUL, July 8 (Korea Bizwire) — The small town of Lajatico in central Italy welcomes people from all over the world every July.
Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli has been holding concerts for 17 years in his hometown. This year’s concert will be held on July 28.
The concert will be held at Teatro del Silenzio and will feature works from Korean sculptor Park Eun-sun in addition to Bocelli’s musical performance.
Every year, the maestro has been inviting renowned artists from around the world to his concert, an ‘ensemble’ of tangible and intangible art.
Park designed an 11-meter-tall sculpture for the concert at Lajatico, which took eight months to build.
It is the first time for an Asian artist to be invited to Bocelli’s Lajatico concert.
Visitors coming to see Bocelli’s concert will be able to view Park’s artworks not only on the main stage, but also in Lajatico’s central square.
