SEOUL, Sept. 15 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. said Wednesday it will soon release its 97-inch OLED EVO Gallery Edition, the world’s largest OLED television.
The new 97G2 model comes with the largest OLED screen available in the current state of technology with a 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160).
It is also equipped with a 5th-generation artificial intelligence (AI)-based Alpha 9 processor made based on OLED resolution and sound quality data.
The Alpha 9 processor is capable of recognizing faces, bodies, objects, signs and backgrounds in a video to enhance visibility, and translates 2-channel audio into a virtual 7.1.2-channel 3D audio.
The television supports the cutting-edge Dolby Vision IQ display technology as well Dolby Atmos, a spatial audio technology.
