SEOUL, March 28 (Korea Bizwire) — Young diplomats from 25 countries in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East have been given opportunities to enjoy Korean culture.
The Korean Culture program held at the Institute of International Education of Kyung Hee University last week is one of many Korean language and cultural programs provided by the Korea Foundation designed for foreign diplomats.
Trying out the traditional Korean costume, hanbok, is the first phase of the program before experiencing Korean food and learning K-pop dance.
The institute has been hosting a program for foreign diplomats in charge of Korea-related work in their respective countries every year. This year, the institute has introduced the Best Hanbok Award for the first time.
Diplomats dressed up in different kinds of hanbok boasted each of their unique styles of walking and introduced themselves in Korean.
