SEOUL, Aug. 18 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korea National Park Service on Thursday announced the launch of a new ecological program across 14 national parks, inviting disabled individuals to participate.
Mount Bukhan, Taean Seaside, and Byeonsanbando national parks will offer specialized wheelchairs, allowing disabled individuals to relish in the exquisite landscapes.
For those with visual impairments, Mount Gaya, Mount Gyeryong, Mount Naejang and Mount Sogni national parks will initiate programs that engage the senses with the scents of flowers and the sounds of birds.
Enhancing accessibility for those with hearing impairments, Mount Gyeryong, Mount Juwang and Mount Jiri national parks will provide commentary through sign language.
