SEOUL, Nov. 1 (Korea Bizwire)Starting today, the long-awaited “With Corona” (or “living with COVID-19″) scheme kicks off, with mixed emotions about how the situation will turn out.

Many things will change from Nov. 1, with a lot of welcome news for outgoing people. Frequent movie-goers, for example, will be able to watch movies whenever they like, without any restrictions.

Moreover, those with the advantage of holding a ‘vaccine pass’ will be able to enjoy popcorn and drinks inside the theater, a departure from previous limitations on food and beverage consumption at movie theaters.

Those who have been vaccinated can also enjoy chicken and beer at outdoor sports stands including ball parks. Except for entertainment facilities, the restrictions on business hours of other facilities including restaurants and cafes will be fully lifted.

Larger get-togethers will also make a return, as private gatherings in the greater Seoul area are now permitted for up to 10 people. Previously, only four people were allowed for such casual meetings.

Expectations about ‘back to normal’ are rising, but one thing still hasn’t changed – you still need to wear a mask indoors, regardless of whether or not you are vaccinated.
