SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Korea Bizwire) – Lotte Chemical has introduced a new eco-friendly material brand called ECOSEED. They unveiled it during a “Green Recycling Day” event on Monday at Lotte World Tower in Jamsil as part of their 2030 vision for recycling.
Under the ECOSEED brand, the company combines recycled materials (PCR) and biodegradable plastics (bioplastics) through both physical and chemical processes. Their goal with this launch is to expand their environmentally friendly business and supply one million tons of these eco-friendly materials by 2030.
ECOSEED includes a range of high-quality products (PCR-PET, PCR-PC, PCR-ABS, PCR-PE, PCR-PP) that can recycle most plastics commonly used in daily life.
Furthermore, Lotte Chemical has developed eco-friendly recycling technologies like Korea’s first pyrolyzed lead yarn product, the largest chemical recycling PET plant in Korea, and unique solvent refining technology.
In addition to these innovations, they can offer tailored solutions such as recycled material design and the production of highly functional compound products. They also have the advantage of having global production facilities and collaborating with raw material suppliers to meet the needs of customers worldwide.
