SEOUL, Oct. 10 (Korea Bizwire) – Porsche Korea announced on October 10 the official launch of its new third-generation Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, a high-performance luxury sedan that promises improved driving dynamics and efficiency.

The new model, which replaces the previous Turbo S variant, combines a powerful combustion engine with an advanced electric motor, reflecting the auto industry’s shift towards electrification even in its most potent offerings.

According to Porsche, the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid is equipped with a 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine paired with a newly developed 190-horsepower electric motor. This powertrain configuration allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 315 kilometers per hour.

The automaker emphasized the model’s improved electric range, stating that the increased battery capacity enables up to 61 kilometers of pure electric driving, a feature that caters to the growing demand for reduced emissions and increased fuel efficiency in the luxury car segment.

Porsche is offering the Porsche Active Ride suspension system as an optional feature, which the company claims provides a balance between comfort and dynamic handling characteristics. This advanced suspension technology is part of Porsche’s efforts to maintain its reputation for sporty driving dynamics while meeting the expectations for comfort in a luxury sedan.

Inside the cabin, the new Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid showcases Porsche’s latest approach to interior design, with a driver-centric digital display and updated control elements around the steering wheel. These updates reflect the industry-wide trend towards more intuitive and technologically advanced user interfaces in high-end vehicles.

The new model will be available in South Korea in both four-seat and five-seat configurations, allowing customers to choose between a more exclusive 2+2 layout or a more practical five-seat arrangement.
