SEOUL, June 30 (Korea Bizwire) — Nongshim Co., South Korea’s leading instant noodle manufacturer, announced Monday the debut of its signature Shin Ramyun menu at a franchise restaurant located within Fort Bliss, a major U.S. military base in Texas.

This marks the first time Nongshim’s ramen dishes have been featured as official menu items at a U.S. military installation, though its products have long been available in post exchange (PX) stores, the company noted in a press release.

The new offering includes the classic Shin Ramyun along with two additional variants, and is now available at a CUPBOP outlet inside Fort Bliss. Nongshim plans to gradually roll out the menu at other CUPBOP locations situated in major military bases, including Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska and Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.

The initiative is part of a broader strategy to boost global recognition of the “spicy and delicious” Shin Ramyun brand among American service members.

Nongshim will collaborate closely with CUPBOP—a U.S.-based Korean food franchise—to promote its ramen products internationally. CUPBOP currently operates 260 stores across the United States and Indonesia, with further expansion planned in Canada and Dubai later this year.

“Given the diverse cultural backgrounds of U.S. military personnel stationed worldwide, this partnership provides an ideal opportunity to elevate the global profile of Shin Ramyun,” Nongshim stated.
