SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics’ latest innovation — a hybrid air purifier and cat tower — has been named one of Time magazine’s “Best Inventions of 2025,” recognized for its creative blend of design, technology, and pet-friendly functionality.
Time praised the LG PuriCare AeroCat Tower as “a sleek, space-saving air purifier that benefits both cats and humans,” highlighting its unique approach to integrating home appliances with pet care.

The AeroCat Tower combines an air purification system with a multi-level cat tower, offering both clean air and a cozy resting space for cats. It features a dome-shaped heated seat designed for feline comfort, along with a built-in weight sensor that allows owners to monitor their pets’ health and track weight changes over time.
The device is part of LG’s broader “Aero Series,” which also includes modular designs such as the AeroSpeaker, a Bluetooth-enabled air purifier, and the AeroFurniture, a table-style purifier. These models share a replaceable top module, allowing users to customize function and form.
An LG Electronics spokesperson said the recognition underscores the company’s commitment to “creating products that enhance coexistence between people and pets” while delivering both practical convenience and emotional satisfaction.
The Time listing places LG among a small group of global innovators shaping the intersection of technology, lifestyle, and design — and reinforces the company’s growing reputation in the premium home appliance market.
