SEOUL, June 1 (Korea Bizwire) – Forty guerrilla gardeners from the College of Life and Environmental Sciences at Konkuk University and eight elderly citizens planted flowers in a park at Ttukseom Recreation Area on May 31. Five university students from the department started guerrilla gardening in 2013, and the tradition has since spread, with all of the enrolled students now taking part.
Oh Soo-jin, one of the guerrilla gardeners, said that more and more people outside the department are contacting the gardening team to ask if they can participate.
