SEOUL, May 7 (Korea Bizwire) — Guerrilla gardening and a special fashion show featuring various traditional clothes from around the world will be held at Cheonggye Stream on May 9.
Starting from 2:00 PM at a site between Mojeon Bridge and Hwangtong Bridge, more than 100 citizens will transform the area into beautiful gardens with materials recycled from PET bottles and tires.
At 8:00 PM, Cheonggyecheon’s ‘stage on water’ near Dongdaemun Fashion Town will feature 30 non-professional, citizen models dressed in traditional clothes from Asia, Africa and Europe.
The Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation is planning to present a ‘fashion show on water’ under various themes on the second Saturday of every month until October.
