SEOUL, Jun. 30 (Korea Bizwire) – Yuhan Kimberly, a sanitary products manufacturer, has developed a self-health check method for women and published it on its official website, said the company on June 29.
Yuhan Kimberly said that the company noticed women in general have a lack of information about their own bodies and physiological symptoms caused by changes in hormones.
The self-check can be found at http://www.yuhan-kimberly.co.kr/yk_pressroom/board/newagenda_view.asp?seq=309&Current_Page=1&SearchField=&SearchWord=.
The self-check is comprised of questions about usual health conditions concerning the uterus, how knowledgeable women are about gynecological diseases and what they can do or are doing to improve their health.
According to Baek Eun-Jeong, a doctor who participated in developing the self-test, some women mistake vaginal secretion for an abnormal phenomenon, but they should just examine the amount of secretion and the period of time in which over which it is secreted in order to maintain good health.
The self-test also features a separate guide (http://www.yuhan-kimberly.co.kr/yk_pressroom/board/newagenda_view.asp?seq=308&Current_Page=1&SearchField=&SearchWord=) which offers information about how and when to use panty-liners, and how not to interrupt women’s health by wearing light and comfortable clothes and underwear.
