SEOUL, Korea, Dec 24 (Korea Bizwire) – The Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning and the state-run Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute said on December 23 that they have opened a new business incubation center called “Job Creation Lab.” Located on the lobby floor of the fusion tech R&D center within Daedeok Innopolis, or Daedeok Science Town, the lab offers spaces for start-up entrepreneurs.
The spaces, including smart offices (spaces for mentoring), smart workplaces (product manufacturing and experiment spaces), and smart work spaces (one-person creative spaces), are offered to young minds with bright ideas at low cost. In addition to the spaces, they can take advantage of the facilities inside the fusion tech R&D center including molding, circuit surface-mount technology labs, test beds, and the entrepreneur’s space.
The opening ceremony held in the morning of the 23rd, several dignitaries including the presidents of the Korea Institute of Energy Research and Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, as well as the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute were present.
