SEOUL, Jan. 16 (Korea Bizwire) – There are no zombies in the demilitarized zone (DMZ), but Ukrainian-born actress Milla Jovovich decided to pay a visit anyway.
Jovovich was in South Korea promoting her upcoming film Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, the final installment of the zombie film series, which is scheduled for release here on January 25.
Rumor has it that the actress, who has expressed significant interest in Korea in the past, was the one who requested the tour of the Joint Security Area, the very front line between the two Koreas.
According to Universal Pictures International Korea, Jovovich, along with director Paul Anderson and his wife, visited the JSA on Saturday, and spent some time with the American and Korean soldiers stationed there. The group left on Sunday.
