BUSAN, Jan. 26 (Korea Bizwire)Air Busan Co., a budget carrier unit of Asiana Airlines Inc., is creating various items by recycling old suitcases used by flight attendants.

The company said Tuesday that it had released a new keyring crafted from recycled suitcases and surf suits.

The keyring is designed after the fin of a whale, an endangered species. Its front was made with old flight attendants’ suitcases and the rear with old surf suits.

Suitcases are one of the essential items given out to flight attendants. They are replaced every two or three years, and are usually thrown away because they are difficult to recycle.

Air Busan plans to sell the keyrings during flights. The profits will be spent on cleaning the ocean around Busan.
