INCHEON, Nov. 16 (Korea Bizwire) — The Airport Railroad Corp. (ARC), the operator of the commuter rail line Airport Railroad Express (AREX), has introduced the country’s first voice recognition ticketing system.
Users can simply tell the system the destination and number of passengers to purchase tickets. The system is available both in Korean and English.
The ticketing system also comes with a voice learning technology to understand better as more customers use it.
The ARC has installed two systems each in Seoul Station and Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Station.
After completing a five-month trial, the company plans to install the system in all 14 stations on the AREX line by next April.
