SEOUL, Korea, Jan 16 (Korea Bizwire) - The duty-free shop “Airstar Avenue” of Incheon International Airport was chosen as the World’s Best Duty-free Shop for four consecutive years at “2013 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards.” Incheon International Airport Corp. said this on January 15, adding that it won the honor at an award ceremony held in Los Angeles on the 13th.
Business Traveller is a monthly business travel magazine published in 11 regions worldwide including the United State, Asia-Pacific, and China. The latest results were based on votes of about 40,000 readers of the North American edition.
Business Traveller acknowledged that Airstar Avenue deserved the award not only for the superb shopping environment but also for the brand’s competitive management to keep pace with “Korean Wave” by establishing popular Korean brand shops in the duty-free complex. Especially, diverse attractions prepared for customers that are not carried by duty-free brands in other countries are especially a strong merit.
