SEOUL, Sept. 20 (Korea Bizwire) — A virtual zoo that uses augmented reality (AR) technology will be established at an animal protection agency in Seoul.
Gangdong District will open up an AR zoo inside a local animal protection agency on Saturday using 5G technology.
Visitors will be able to meet with welsh corgis, lesser pandas, and other virtual animals through Jump AR, a smartphone application developed by SK Telecom, which will allow them to summon a variety of virtual animals and take photos or videos with them.
