SEOUL, July 26 (Korea Bizwire) — Interest in beauty is high even in North Korea, where books dealing with a variety of topics including makeup tips and how to get or stay in shape are enjoying popularity.
Tokyo-based pro-North Korean newspaper Chosun Sinbo recently reported that a string of new books for women have been released in Pyongyang bookstores and gained rising popularity. The report also provided a detailed introduction to these books.
The newly-published book titled “Beautiful Skin Care” sheds light on customized skin care depending on personal skin type.
The book titled “Understanding Cosmetics” allows women to grasp the type and characteristics of cosmetics products, while providing basic common sense on beauty.
Other books titled “Makeup Tips for Four Seasons” and “Makeup Tips for Different Face Shapes” provide useful information on how to achieve the best makeup depending on the season, location and face shape.
Another book titled “Beauty and Yoga” helps women to maintain a youthful body by exercising both body and mind through yoga.
