SEOUL, Dec. 13 (Korea Bizwire) – Girl group BLACKPINK’s music video for “As If It’s Your Last” was the most popular K-pop video on YouTube in 2017, according to the U.S. online streaming giant Wednesday.
YouTube announced that the BLACKPINK video, published on June 22, topped its list of most-viewed K-pop videos in 2017. The music video has racked up more than 198 million views.
BTS took the second, third and fifth spots, with “DNA,” “Not Today” and “Spring Day,” respectively. “Knock Knock” and “Signal” by TWICE earned the fourth and sixth places, respectively. EXO’s summer hit “Ko Ko Bop” came in at ninth.
Among K-pop stars, BTS saw the biggest increase in new subscribers thisyear, adding an additional 4.9 million new subscribers, with 96 percent of them from overseas.
