SEOUL, Oct. 25 (Korea Bizwire) – BTS, EXO and other K-pop big names will be part of a concert celebrating the arrival of the torch for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games next week, the culture ministry said Wednesday.
The concert will be held at Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul and Incheon Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, west of the capital, on Wednesday. It will also feature TWICE, BTOB and B.A.P, among other top K-pop acts.
Legendary folk singer Yang Hee-eun and rock bands Day 6 and TransFixion, will also perform at the event, which will be aired live on SBS TV.
The flame was lit in Greece on Tuesday, marking a symbolic start of the torch relay that will involve thousands of people around the globe. The torch will arrive in South Korea via Incheon International Airport on the day of the concert.
