BUSAN, Aug. 23 (Korea Bizwire) — The Busan Metropolitan Government announced on August 23 that it will be holding a special raffle event as part of its citywide cleanup efforts.
The event will be restricted to Millak Waterfront Park to tackle waste left by visitors who do not correctly dispose of their garbage.
To place one’s name into the pot, participants will need to place their garbage into a plastic bag, tie it, paste an event sticker onto the bag, take a photo and then upload it onto Facebook, Instagram and/or Kakao Story.
The event stickers will be available at the customer service center at Gwangan Station and convenience stores near Millak Waterfront Park.
Prizes include 300,000 won in prize money and tickets to the Busan Fireworks Festival and the Busan One Asia Festival (one winner), two roundtrip tickets for a domestic flight on Air Busan (one winner), an overnight stay at the Haeundae Grand Hotel (one winner), and an iced coffee mobile coupon (50 winners).
The prizes are being provided by the sponsors of the event.
The winning tickets will be drawn on September 7 at five in the afternoon. The draw will be streamed on the Busan Metropolitan Government’s official Facebook, YouTube and Instagram accounts.
