SEOUL, Oct. 31 (Korea Bizwire) – CJ Healthcare Corp takes hangovers seriously, so seriously in fact that it announced on October 30 that it has opened the country’s first ever research facility devoted to finding a cure for alcohol-induced woes.
CJ Healthcare was the first company to introduce a hangover alleviation drink in 1992 with “Condition”. The facility will build on the data CJ Healthcare has accumulated since then, with the aim of discovering new hangover remedies.
In November, the company is planning to release a “premium anti-hangover drink”.
CEO Kang Seok-hee said, “Armed with the knowhow that elevated Condition to its status as the representative anti-hangover drink over the past 25 years, the company intends to pursue R&D efforts vigorously to produce a superior anti-hangover product.”
