BOEUN, Jan. 20 (Korea Bizwire) — Boeun County in North Chungcheong Province put up an advertisement to celebrate the birth of a new baby via a large electronic display board on Jan. 4.
Another advertisement was also put up to celebrate the birth of a daughter born on Dec. 18.
Included in these advertisements were photos of the babies, the names of their parents and celebration messages.
They are the first advertisements of the county office’s new project aimed at celebrating the birth of new life through advertisements starting this year.
The county also posted the advertisements in its regular newsletter.
“This project was introduced to encourage baby birth. Many residents sent congratulations after viewing the advertisements shown on the electronic display,” an official at the county office said.
