This move to an expanded and more technologically advanced facility demonstrates CP Kelco’s commitment to growth in South Asia, while strengthening the company’s global innovation footprint.

According to R. Venkatraman, Country Director, South Asia at CP Kelco, the Mumbai facility serves as a cross-functional support center for customers in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, providing food & beverage application support and expertise to customers. “The new facility will also help CP Kelco drive some of its key growth initiatives across the Asia Pacific region,” he said.
The inauguration ceremony for the Mumbai facility, conducted in traditional Indian style, featured remarks by CP Kelco executive leaders and included CP Kelco partners, educational institutions, and industry and media representatives. A site tour allowed visitors to learn about the vision for the new facility, capabilities of the new laboratories and added functions of the Innovation Center.
