SEOUL, Feb. 22 (Korea Bizwire) – Online job service Incruit found via an internally conducted analysis that job postings and applications for web masters and online mall masters had soared in the past five years.
The number of posts searching for applicants to these positions was 505.8 percent more than in 2013.
Other types of jobs that experienced explosive demand were bio/product engineering (291.4 percent), web development/management/marketing (235.9 percent), translation (231.1 percent) and product/industrial design (228.6 percent).
None of these fields of work featured in the top five jobs for which applications increased the most since 2013. Positions in global business were most desired (increase of 552.1 percent), followed by “office work in commerce” (544.9 percent), management/planning/strategy (479.3 percent), HR/recruitment/training (447.3 percent) and purchasing/inventory (428.4 percent).
Incruit said the top five jobs most applied to are believed to be targets of liberal arts graduates, and the growth in interest in these positions is due to the perception that the barrier for entry is relatively low.
