SEOUL, May 10 (Korea Bizwire) — E-Mart announced today the release of a new 65-inch 4K ultra-high-definition (UHD) smart Google TV under its Electroman brand, which is part of its home appliance private label (PL).
The TV is an upgraded version of the existing Electroman 55-inch Android TV, and its larger screen size is in line with the growing trend for larger TVs. E-Mart said the TV is equipped with Google TV, which is the next-generation operating system (OS) that offers greater versatility.
One of the standout features of this TV is its personalized content recommendations that use artificial intelligence (AI), as well as parental control functions and an intuitive interface configuration.
Cost-effective PL products such as this TV are increasingly popular due to high inflation rates. According to E-Mart’s analysis of TV sales trends from January to April, PL TV sales accounted for 13.7% of total TV sales, an increase of 1.6 percentage points from the same period last year.
