SEOUL, Oct. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – Eastar Jet has announced that it will operate irregular flights from Incheon to Dandong, China. It is the first time that an airline from a country other than China airline offers service to Dandong.
The planes of Eastar Jet will fly from Incheon to Dandong twice a week on Monday and Friday until the end of November. Service to Dandong could be extended for a longer period if the route proves to be popular.
Eastar Jet officials say that although it is an irregular route, it is meaningful for the company to have started a flight to Dandong.
Eastar Jet currently operates six regular flights to China, from Chungju to Shenyang, Shanghai, Yanji, Dalian and Harbin, and from Incheon to Jinan. The company is continuing to increase its irregular service to other regions in China.
