SEOUL, May 12 (Korea Bizwire) – An exhibition showcasing arts of “Apptists,” which means artists who creates with mobile applications, is going to be held in Seoul.
Wookie, a company specializing in application education and marketing, has announced on May 9 that Seogyo Seoul Arts Space is hosting an exhibition “Art Passion of People” on May 16 and 17.
The exhibition will be comprised of displays of art works, music, videos and photographs from 20 apptists and interactive media exhibition using digital technology. The art collection is from the apptists with various professions such as photographers, painters, movie directors, and musicians, all of whom have taken application art courses offered by Wookie.
An official from the arts space said, “The exhibition is the first application digital art exhibition hosted in Korea, which will show the art works that have extended the recently performed digital arts from New York, Europe and Japan.”
