SEOUL, Dec. 8 (Korea Bizwire)The first export batch of K2 battle tanks and K9 self-propelled howitzers has arrived in Poland.

The Polish Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday (local time) that it held a delivery ceremony for 10 units of K2 Black Panther tanks and 24 units of K9 howitzer at a Navy base in Gdynia.

For Poland, it has become imperative to prevent a “defense vacuum” amid a surge in military aid being sent to Ukraine.

Despite the cold snap, Polish President Andrzej Duda and other high-ranking government officials participated in the ceremony, reflecting the importance of the military equipment.
