San Francisco, April 19 (Korea Bizwire) –Google is planning to launch its own foldable smartphone, called “Pixel Fold,” in June this year, according to internal documents obtained by CNBC. The foldable phone will reportedly have a 7.6-inch screen that unfolds and a battery that lasts 72 hours at low power, and will compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold.
The phone is codenamed “Felix” and will be unveiled at Google’s annual developer conference, Google I/O, on June 10. The price is expected to be over $1,700. Apple is also predicted to release a foldable iPad in 2024, according to market analysts.
