SEOUL, Dec. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — The Ministry of Environment plans to introduce an unmanned airship to effectively monitor fine dust emitted at construction sites.
The airship will be 11 meters in length and carry a hyperspectral imaging camera, while being powered by helium to save energy.
With a single electric charge, it can fly for more than four hours, leaving it capable of making a round trip of 140 kilometers.
The government expects that the airship flying around industrial complexes with a sign that says “Monitoring Fine Dust” will already be enough for industrial businesses to control their fine dust emissions.
