SEOUL, Jan. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – Hankook Tire Manufacturing Co., South Korea’s largest tiremaker by sales, said Tuesday it will provide Citroen’s new crossover utility vehicles (CUVs) with Ventus Prime 3 and Kinergy 4S premium tires.
Hankook Tire said its tires will be equipped in the new models of the French automaker’s C3 Aircross for sale in Europe.
Ventus Prime 3 and Kinergy 4S premium tires are suited for the road and weather conditions in Europe for high speed and safe driving, the tiremaker said.
The tires were rated among the most excellent by Autobild in 2016.
Kinergy 4S tires have an all-season and multi-performance harmony with a 10 percent braking reduction on snow and a 6 percent improvement on dry, wet and dry handling, the company said.
“It is meaningful for us to provide the tires for Citroen’s C3 Aircross as we are expanding our partnership with premium European auto brands,” said Cho Hyun-bum, president of Hankook Tire.
