SEOUL, May 6 (Korea Bizwire) – A 490 million won (US$453,500) Swiss luxury watch will be introduced in Korea by Hyundai Department Store. The department store will hold a luxury watch exhibition at its Trade Center (from May 1 to 18) and Apgujeong (from May 8 to 18) branches. The luxury watch brands to be exhibited include Audemars Piguet, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget, Blancpain, Vacheron Constantin, Breguet, Roger Dubuis, Panerai and others.
The most expensive watch will be Jaeger-LeCoultre’s “Rendez-Vous Tourbillon High Jewelry”, which costs 490 million won. The luxury watch features 547 diamonds totaling an impressive 9 carats. The department store will exhibit more than 400 luxury watches including those submitted to the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie and Baselworld, held respectively in January and March. The total value of the watches is expected to be around 50 billion won (US$46.3 million).
