The South Korean automaker announced on September 9 that its team achieved a remarkable 1-2-3 finish, marking its fourth victory of the year.

The Acropolis Rally, known for its challenging unpaved terrain and scorching climate, is considered one of the most demanding courses on the WRC calendar. This year’s event, held from September 5 to 8, covered a grueling 305.3 kilometers of rough terrain, testing both the resilience of the vehicles and the adaptability of their drivers.

Hyundai’s triumphant trio consisted of Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo, and Ott Tänak, all piloting the i20 N Rally1 Hybrid cars. Neuville clinched the top spot, leveraging his extensive experience across various course types to finish over a minute ahead of his teammate Sordo.

Despite early setbacks, Sordo and Tänak recovered to secure the second and third places, respectively, completing Hyundai’s podium sweep. This performance not only showcased the team’s depth but also highlighted the reliability and competitiveness of its hybrid rally cars.

“We’re thrilled to have achieved our fourth WRC victory of the 2024 season,” a Hyundai representative stated. “We’re committed to continuing this momentum and delivering strong performances for our N brand and motorsport fans throughout the remainder of the season.”
