INCHEON, July 6 (Korea Bizwire) — Incheon International Airport has been recognized as having the world’s best airport staff by global aviation consultancy Skytrax, topping more than 570 airports in its annual World Airport Awards.
Skytrax’s rankings, based on passenger surveys conducted across more than 100 countries between August 2024 and February 2025, evaluated the service quality of frontline staff in areas such as immigration, security, check-in counters, retail, and dining.
Incheon claimed first place globally and in the Asia region, outpacing Singapore’s Changi Airport (No. 2), Hong Kong International Airport (No. 3), and Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports (No. 4 and 5).
In addition to the Skytrax honor, Incheon Airport also won “Airport Food & Beverage Offer of the Year” at the 2025 Airport FAB Awards, hosted by UK-based industry publication The Moodie Davitt Report. The award recognizes excellence in airport dining services and was awarded to Incheon both as the global overall winner and top performer in the Asia-Pacific region.

Incheon International Airport credited the accolades to its strengthened infrastructure and passenger experience improvements following the completion of its “Phase 4 Grand Opening” late last year.
Separately, the airport ranked fourth in Skytrax’s “World’s Top 100 Airports 2025,” maintaining its presence in the global top five for the fourth consecutive year. Changi Airport, Doha Hamad International, and Tokyo Haneda took the top three spots, respectively.
