SEOUL, Jan. 27 (Korea Bizwire) — The hip-hop sub-unit of Infinite, “Infinite H,” held a showcase performing new songs from their second album “Fly Again.” In the showcase, group member Dongwoo revealed that he followed pretty women in the subway to compose the title track “Pretty.”
During the showcase held at the AX Concert Hall in Seoul on January 26, Dongwoo and Hoya talked about their comeback two years after they released their first album “Fly High”, and shared stories about the process of composing their new songs. Introducing their title track “Pretty,” Hoya said, “When I made this song, I dressed up. I thought we could make a good song with the right mindset.”
Meanwhile, Dongwoo said, “I even followed pretty women in the subway trains to compose it. The song is for all the women.” Responding to Dongwoo’s comment, Hoya said, “He’s not kidding. Dongwoo really hunted up pretty women in the subways.”
The rap-focused splinter group of Infinite prepared its own unique music, working together with Brand New Music, a music label and entertainment company that represents famous rappers such as San-E and Verbal Jint.
In the title track “Pretty,” Hoya and Dongwoo express their feelings about falling in love through their distinctive rapping styles. Without any featured guests, unlike the other six tracks on the album, only Dongwoo and Hoya performed the song, while the other members of Infinite joined in producing the song as directors.
