SEOUL, Feb. 19 (Korea Bizwire) — Young tourists from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia are most interested in tour programs featuring Korean pop content in South Korea, a report showed Sunday.
According to the report conducted by local consulting firm Evermint Partners Co. and released by the Korea Tourism Organization, the so-called K-pop tour program received the highest preference score of 3.75 out of 5.
The report was based on a survey of 464 people aged between 20 and 34 from the two Middle East countries.
The tour includes visiting spots, such as K-star road, located in the southern Gangnam area, and other shooting locations for local dramas and movies.
Tours around Gangnam Subway Station, which has gained popularity since South Korean singer Psy’s megahit “Gangnam Style,” ranked second with a score of 3.73, the report showed.
