SEOUL, Dec. 26 (Korea Bizwire) — KG Mobility Corp., a South Korean carmaker, on Friday unveiled the all-new Musso pickup model in the domestic market as it seeks to strengthen the Musso pickup brand.
The new Musso, developed under the project name Q300, has been added to the existing lineup, which includes the Musso Sports and Musso Sports Khan, the company said in a press release.
While the two existing Musso models are diesel-powered, the new model will be available in both gasoline and diesel versions, a company spokesperson said.
“The new Musso will be launched in the domestic market next month,” she said.
The carmaker’s lineup consists of the Tivoli, Korando, Rexton, Rexton Sports, Actyon and Torres sport utility vehicles (SUVs), the all-electric Torres EVX, Musso Sports, Musso Sports Khan and the Musso EV.
The Musso EV is the country’s first pure electric pickup.
In the January–November period, the carmaker’s vehicle sales rose 2.2 percent to 100,876 units from 98,737 a year earlier.
