SEOUL, June 19 (Korea Bizwire) — Kia Corp. on Thursday launched updated versions of its flagship K5 and K8 sedans in South Korea by adding a new trim packed with high-demand features.
Newly added for both models is the Best Selection trim, which combines popular features at competitive pricing.
For the K5, the new trim includes an advanced driver assistance system, a forward collision-avoidance assist system, smart cruise control and highway driving assist features, among others.
The K8′s Best Selection trim features 18-inch machine-finished wheels, dual-layer acoustic rear window glass, dynamic ambient lighting and a suede headliner for a more refined interior.
Pricing for the new K5 starts at 27.24 million won (US$19,818), while the K8 starts at 36.79 million won.
“With enhanced product value, we aim to continue delivering a differentiated sedan experience to our customers,” a Kia official said.
