King Sejong Institute in Iran Holds Coursework Completion Ceremony for Korean Language Experts

SEOUL, Jan. 7 (Korea Bizwire)The South Korean Embassy in Iran hosted the 2021 coursework completion ceremony for students at the King Sejong Institute, a state-run Korean language education center.

Twenty-six students from the advanced course participated in the offline ceremony. They are Korean language ‘experts’ that have completed the entire eight-semester course on the Korean language.

Another 450 students participated in the ceremony online.

The event also hosted award ceremonies for honors students and winners of the Korean language contest.

À̶õÀεéÀÌ ¸¸µç ½Ã¸¦ °çµéÀÎ ±×¸²

As a side event, award-winning poems written by Iranians in the Korean language have been put up for exhibition.

Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, all classes at the institute have been conducted online.

The ceremony was also the very first time for teachers to meet with their students offline.
