SEOUL, June 17 (Korea Bizwire) – The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism revealed Friday that it will establish a 4,500km trekking course, passing by the country’s three coasts and the demilitarized zone bordering North Korea, for travelers to hike around the entire country.
The route will be three times the length of el Camino de Santiago pilgrim’s trail in Spain (1,500km).
The ministry expects that the new trekking course will draw 5.5 million annual visitors, and create some 720 billion won in economic spinoffs.

How could this possibly end badly? Devout Christians right along the demilitarized zone. In Europe there are Christian relics, including the tomb of St. James the Greater in Santiago de Compostela. Does Korea have some Christian relic of which I am unaware?
