SEOUL, Aug. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — KT Corp., a major telecom operator in South Korea, on Thursday unveiled a cloud streaming-based 3D experiential showroom.
Utilizing the Unreal Engine 5 real-time 3D creation tool as its foundation, the showroom establishes a virtual space mirroring reality by integrating diverse clothing information such as fabric and color.
Avatars don attires showcased in a virtual flagship store and partake in sports like golf and tennis, offering visitors an immersive clothing experience.
Controlling avatars can be achieved using a keyboard in a PC environment and a joystick positioned at the base of the device in a mobile setting.
KT aims to provide its own cloud streaming solution for this platform, enabling the delivery of high-quality 3D content in a streaming format without the necessity of a high-spec GPU.
Furthermore, devoid of time and space limitations, orders and payments can be seamlessly conducted without having to access a separate URL.
