SEOUL, Dec. 23 (Korea Bizwire) — An abandoned dog had not forgotten about South Korean singer Lee Hyo-ri, who temporarily took care of the dog in the past.
The recently aired first episode of tvN’s reality show “Canada Check-in” introduced the former member of K-pop girl group Fin.K.L going on a 12-day trip to Canada to meet with abandoned dogs that she had cared for in the past before they were adopted by foreign families.
One of the dogs, named “San,” was a 1-year-old border collie mix that Lee rescued in a field in Jeju Island in March of this year, and sent away for adoption.
San now lives in Vancouver. When San got out of the backseat of the current owner’s car, the dog seemed to enjoy the landscape a bit, before recognizing Lee in an instant, wagging his tail full of affection.
“I’m curious if they’ll remember me,” the 43-years-old diva said before she met with the dogs.
“Even if they don’t, it will be enough to see them being cared for,” Lee said, her eyes full of tears.
