SEOUL, Mar. 21 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean tech giant LG Electronics Ltd. said Sunday it has signed a deal with Bang & Olufsen to supply high-end televisions to the Danish maker of premium hi-fi systems.
Under the agreement, LG Electronics will supply organic light-emitting diode (OLED) televisions to the Danish company for five years starting in 2017.
Bang & Olufsen plans to launch a television package that comes with its premium audio systems as part of efforts to turn around its money-losing TV unit.
Last month, LG Electronics launched its latest flagship smartphone, the G5, which features an advanced stereo system, jointly developed by Bang & Olufsen.’
