SEOUL, Nov. 3 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics announced on November 2 that its sales of 55-inch curved organic light-emitting diode television hit the record of 1,000 units within a month of its launch.
The price tag of the product is 3.99 million won, or about US$3700, quartered from 15 million won of the previous model in the same class. Capturing budget-conscious consumers’ hearts, LG could boost its sales by 20-folds.
The popular TV has gained favorable reviews from renowned gadget reviewers. According to Cnet, “the LG 55EC9300 OLED TV’s picture betters that of any LCD or plasma TV, with perfect black levels and exceedingly bright whites.” Reviewed.com also gave its thumbs-up reviews on the product, saying it is “a great value if you’re looking for the ultimate TV trifecta: gorgeous design, ultra high-end extras, and solid picture quality.”
