SEOUL, Jul. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics has received more than 26,000 photographs taken by LG’s smartphones for the 3rd LG Mobile Photography Competition, in the one month since the release of the LG G4.
The competition has been ongoing since 2013, and this year’s contest saw the number of entries triple from last year. One in 1,200 of the photos will be winners.
Some customers who submitted entries have taken pictures with the G4’s new ‘Pro’ mode, which enables users to freely control shutter speed, ISO and white balance levels.
LG Electronics has recently presented 23 prize-winning photos and 17 other submissions on its competition webpage (www.lgg4mobilephoto.co.kr/web).
The first place winner will receive a plane ticket to Santorini, the second place winner a ticket to Prague and the third place winner a ticket to Hong Kong.
Other prizes will be awarded to the remaining 20 winners.
Oh Joong-Seok, a professional photographer who participated in the competition as a judge, said that the G4’s improved camera functions might have helped users take more soulful pictures for the competition.
